A group of juniors golfers from the Graham Moore International
Golf School visited the Museum during their recent trip to St
Andrews. They all enjoyed the visit which was enhanced with a
quiz, a word search and a search for Mashie Mouse as well as trying
out the 18th Hole, the new gallery recently opened. They used
old gutta percha and feathery golf balls with hickory shafted
wooden and steel headed putters and were presented on leaving
with a momento of their visit.
Graham commented after the visit "The Museum visit was well
received by all, my thanks go to Kathryn Baker the Museum Curator
who conducted the tour and prepared the activities for the children.
Her enthusiasm for the children to enjoy their afternoon was second
to none. Many thanks Kathryn".
