Why not take a break from the hectic holiday season and visit the British Golf Museum and shop for FREE between 27th December and 30th December, 10am – 4pm. We will be closed to the public on 31st December and 1st January, but will reopen in the New Year on 2nd January.
On entering the museum you can compare your grips to the greats with our Major’s Collection of bronze casts of the grips of golfing greats from Nick Faldo to Jack Nicklaus. Visitors are then greeted with continuous highlights from past Open Championships. Once inside the museum you can explore the history of golf from the Middle Ages to the present day through exciting displays and stunning new interactives. A unique opportunity awaits at the end of your visit to practice putting with replica clubs and balls from the past. ‘The 18th Hole’ gives visitors the chance to test their golfing knowledge, practice their putting and to dress up in period golfing costume.
Every visitor who comes along to the museum receives a complimentary guide to remind you of your visit.
This will make the perfect Christmas break from playing golf.
