To celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee, we have opened a special
exhibition called A Royal Game: Golf from 1952 to 2002. This celebrates
the Jubilee by exploring golfing events through photographs from
the last 50 years. Images rarely seen before, such as Fidel Castro
playing golf in Cuba will be featured alongside more well known
images such as Arnold Palmer on the Swilcan Bridge at the 1995
Open.
On Monday, 3rd June, to celebrate the Jubilee we have decided
that all Museum admission tickets will be priced at £2.00
and kids will get in for free. If you are wondering what to do
with the day, why not take the chance to visit the Museum and
have a look at our new exhibition at the same time?
