The British Golf Museum is open 7 days a week, 360 days a year. We are only closed on 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st December and 1st January. The museum will be closed for essential maintenance on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st May. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Last entry is 45 minutes before closing. Summer Hours: 1st April until 31st October. Winter Hours: 1st November until 31st March.

The museum is a 5 minute walk from the town centre and is situated directly opposite The Royal and Ancient Clubhouse.

    There is no railway station in St Andrews. The nearest railway station to St Andrews is Leuchars (5 miles) on the main line from London King's Cross via Edinburgh, or Aberdeen.

    From Edinburgh & Glasgow: follow signs for Forth Road Bridge. Take the A92 towards Kirkcaldy & Glenrothes. Follow signs for Cupar & St Andrews. From the North: follow signs for Dundee, then St Andrews. When you arrive in St Andrews follow signs for the British Golf Museum.
